RIDE AWARDS:
All members are eligible for individual ride awards: (all Riders receive points for placing / completing a ride, these points are used to determine the yearend awards)
Junior, Tenderfoot, Maverick and Horseman Divisions receive 1st to 6th; some divisions are broken up into Adult and Senior classes.
Maverick and Horseman are eligible for High Point and Reserve High Point awards.
Some of our rides are back to back that means one set of awards each day.
YEAR-END AWARDS:
Please be sure we have your current information on the horse you’re competing on this year.
All Single and Family Members are eligible for year-end awards if they complete 7 rides annually:
Tenderfoot – 1st to 6th in Junior & Adult/Senior classes
Tenderfoot – Sandra Ladd Award: Most improved Tenderfoot & Tenderfoot Junior. Sandra’s motto was “Fall down 7 times, get up 8 times”.
Maverick & Horseman – Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion these are the highest achieving Horse/Rider teams of the year with the most points, followed by
Horseman – 1st to 6th
Maverick – 1st to 6th
HORSE OF THE YEAR:
Maverick & Horseman additional awards averaging 7 of your highest scores on your Rider Cards:
Horse of the year: Horse age 5 to 12 years as of Jan 1 of the current year, Rider/Horse team with the highest average score cards (includes horses age 3 and up that are not eligible for Green Horse).
Seasoned Horse of the year: Horse age 13 & up as of Jan 1 of the current year, Rider/Horse team with the highest average score cards.
Green Horse of the Year: Horse age 3 to 5 years as of Jan 1 of the current year, Rider/Horse team with the highest average score cards. This award is for horses that have never been judged at any trail equine event starting January 1 of the current year.
BREED AWARDS:
All Rider/Horse teams are eligible for Breed Awards: (averaging 5 of your highest scores on your Rider Cards)
American Quarter Horse, American Paint, Appaloosa, Arab, Half Arab, Grade, Kentucky Mountain, Missouri Foxtrotter, Morgan, Mule, Mustang, Paso Fino, Spotted Saddle, Tennessee Walker, Thoroughbred
Copy of registration papers on record required.
