The ranch borders the east side of the town of Glen Rose and extends to the east to the confluence of the Paluxy and Brazos Rivers.  The Paluxy runs through the middle of the ranch with fertile fields on the north and mesquite and oak covered hills and meandering trails on the south with overlooks of the surrounding countryside.  A unique perk of the ranch, you are within walking distance of a 7-11 and Sonic.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test for the horse you registered to ride.  ALL dogs must be on a leash.  No dogs in the pavilion during meal times.  Pick up your trash.  Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences.  There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.

All Junior Riders (age 8 – 18) must wear a helmet at ALL times while horseback. Regardless if on trail or in camp.

Shoes are highly recommended.  You will cross the river at least twice while on trail.

Meals: Hot Dog meal on Friday evening.  Catered meal on Saturday evening, approximate cost $20.

Ranch Fee: Weekend fee of $40.  Pens available for $10/night or large pens for $15/night.  Contact Annette to reserve a pen.

Buddy Riders may no longer register online. You can register by contacting the Ride Secretary via email and request to be put on the Buddy list.  All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. We will then take Buddy Riders in order from the waitlist.  You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter. If you want a guaranteed spot, please register as Scout and get a scorecard!

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (7/01/2025).

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary directly.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy:  Full refund up to 30 days before the ride.

If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family.  Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.

Directions to ride:

From the North:
From Granbury, take 144 South to the stop light at Hwy 67. Cross the intersection and proceed south (Exxon station will be on your right). Stay to the right at the fork in the road. Do not turn left on 312 to the east. The second ranch gate on the left is the entrance. It is less than a ¼ mile south of 67. There will be signs. If you go too far, there is a Sonic and Quality Inn on the right.

From the West:  Go through Glen Rose on 67 to the East end of town and at the light where 144 comes in from the left (North), turn right (Exxon gas station will be on your right). Keep to the right at the fork in the road. Do not turn left on 312. The second ranch gate on the left is the entrance. It is less than a ¼ mile from 67. There will be signs.

From the East (Cleburne):  Take Highway 67 west out of Cleburne.  At the east end of Glen Rose turn left at the intersection of 67 and 144 (a 7-11 will be on your left) turn there. Exxon and store will now be on your right. Keep to the right at the fork in the road. Do not turn left on 312. The gate to the ranch is the second ranch gate on the left. There will be signs.
