The ranch borders the east side of the town of Glen Rose and extends to the east to the confluence of the Paluxy and Brazos Rivers. The Paluxy runs through the middle of the ranch with fertile fields on the north and mesquite and oak covered hills and meandering trails on the South with overlooks of the surrounding country side.

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to the ride, November 1, at 6:00 AM.

Dates:  May 29th and May 30th

Meals: There will be a potluck dinner Saturday with the host providing the meat, water and tea. Please bring your own plates and utensils.

Ranch Fees:   $15 for one day;    $25 for two days

There are two covered 10 x 10 stalls for $10 a night. The ground slopes to one side. No shavings provided.

There are 6 pipe fence pens 20 by 20 or bigger. They are adjacent to each other. $15 per night.

There are 3 large paddocks in the woods to the east, each approximately 60 by 60. Two have new 12 x 12 stalls. $20 per night.

There are no hook ups. Water is available for the horses.

Additional Fees: If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $5 or a full membership for $20, payable to TTCC in a separate check.

General Information and Requirements: Shoes or boots are needed. Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test.  ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASE.  Dispose of manure as instructed.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual. This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

  • In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride manager directly.
  • Your payment 30 days prior to the date of the ride will confirm your reservation. If your payment has not been received 30 days prior to the ride, your slot will be opened for another rider and your name will be added to the wait list. Other payment arrangements can be made by contacting the Ride Manager directly.
  • Please use the comment section to state your preference for lodging.

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy  (Note: new policy)

If you cancel:

2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride– full refund

1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50%

Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund

If  Management cancels  the ride, you will receive a full refund. 

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click: “cancel my reservation”. Make certain you contact the ranch host to cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Saturday morning arrivals registration at 7:30 am. First ride out at 8:30 am

Directions to ride: 

From the North: From Granbury, take 144 South to the stop light at Hwy 67. Cross the intersection and proceed south. There is not a road sign on the first part of the road to the south. There is an Exxon and store on the right. Stay to the right. Do not turn left on 312 to the east. The second ranch gate on the left is the entrance. It is less than a ¼ mile south of 67. There will be signs. If you go too far, there is a Sonic and Quality Inn on the right.

From the West, go through Glen Rose on 67 to the East end of town and at the light where 144 comes in from the left (North), turn right. There is not a sign naming this section of this road. Keep to the right on this road. Do not turn left on 312. The second ranch gate on the left is the entrance. It is less than a ¼ mile from 67.

From the East: at the East end of Glen Rose on 67 at the light where 144 comes in from the north, turn left past the Exxon and store on the right. Keep to the right. Do not turn off this road onto 312 to the left. The gate to the ranch is the second ranch gate on the left.  (Hwy 312 joins Hwy 67 before Hwy 144 intersects Hwy 67. Wait until you get to the light at Hwy 144 and Hwy 67 before turning left to get on 312.)
