The Barnhart Q5 Ranch (BQ5 Ranch) is located in Berclair, Texas which is located in south Texas between Goliad and Beeville.  The BQ5 Ranch is a Lone Star Land Steward winning ranch in recognition of its wildlife and land conservation efforts.  The owners continue to work to balance cattle operations with preservation of wildlife habitat on 700 acres. The ranch terrain is barefoot friendly with wide open cleared trails, seasonal creeks, shady oak trees, abundant wildlife, over 133 different bird species, and a diverse array of south Texas foliage, including wildflowers that will for sure be show casing their vibrant spring colors!  The BQ5 ranch has three fully stocked cottages and a limited number of stalls/pens which will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.  Please contact Karen Pantel if you’re interested in any of the cottage accommodations and/or stalls. There is plenty of room for primitive camping, and the ranch owners so graciously supply the wood and chairs for the fire pit gatherings. And, we hope to have a hay ride up to the Star Gazer on the ranch and maybe a little music! The ranch owners are delighted to host our TTCC ride again in 2024, so join us for a great time!
