General Information and Requirements:

Once again we will be at home on the Smith Ranch in Three Rivers.  The ranch is 600 acres of primarily dense South Texas brush country and open pasture.  Please make sure you bring your musical talents and instruments. Bring your swim suits, there is a swimming hole.  Primitive camping only.  You are welcome to come in early and/or to stay over Sunday night at no additional charge.

As a special incentive to attract NEW Junior riders, Gayna Smith and Nancy Fenimore are comping the Competition Ride Fee portion ($40. for 1 day or 65. for 2 days) for FIRST TIME Junior Riders when accompanied by a competing adult. They will still need to pay the TTCC $7.00 club fee, ranch fees, and meal. So if you or a friend have been considering having a youth try this event, this is a great time to bring them!

The ranch is barefoot friendly and dog friendly.  Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test.  Dogs are to follow a “good neighbor” policy – meaning they can be off leash as long as they are well behaved and play well others.  Please scatter horse manure and manage dog poop.

*Meals:  A catered meal will be available on Saturday night for $15.  Chuck wagon dinner again with beef tips. Please use the comment section to enter the number of meals you will need.

Prepayment 30 days prior to the ride (9/10/20) is required in order to retain your reservation.  If prepayment is not received 30 days prior to ride, your spot will be released and your name will be moved to the waiting list.  You may contact the ride manager directly to make special payment arrangements.

Ranch Fee is $10 per weekend per horse.  No charge for primitive camping.  No charge for coming early or staying later.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $5 or a full membership for $20, payable to TTCC (separate check please). Please see the web page under “Membership” for more information.

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride:  July 1, 2020

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the wait list by contacting the ride manager directly.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your log in, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

Cancellation policy:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy

If you cancel:

 7+ days prior to ride– full refund

 6-3 days prior to ride– 50%

 Less than 3 days– no refund

If  Management cancels  the ride you will receive a full refund.

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Also, make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you may have made with them.

*Directions to ride: 

The ranch is located at 245 FM 1042, Three Rivers, TX 78071. From San Antonio take I-37

South. Exit on 281S (north of Three Rivers). Stay on 281S through Three Rivers. From the

refinery in Three Rivers go 2.5 miles and turn right on FM 1042. Continue 2.7 miles to the ranch

entrance on the left. (Watch for oil tank farm on right as a marker, after you pass this, the

entrance to the ranch will be on your left). There is a Rocking J on the gate and the TTCC

banner will be on the gate. If you are coming in after dark, the ranch gate is 3/10 mile past the

oil tank farm.
