There are no stalls/pens provided. Primative camping is free. The ride managers will arrive on the 7th to start setting up for the ride. Those who want to arrive on Thursday are welcome. Boots or shoes are encouraged. Horse water will be provided. We want to encourage everyone to decorate their campsite in a patriotic theme. Flags, bunting or whatever you feel expresses your appreciation for our Veterans.
General Information and Requirements:
Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test for the horse you registered to ride. ALL dogs must be on a leash. No dogs in the pavilion during meal times. Pick up your trash. Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences. There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.
All Junior Riders (under the age of 18) must wear a helmet at ALL times while horseback. Regardless if on trail or in camp.
Meals: Friday night will be Soup Kitchen – it has been a success! We get to taste a variety of homemade soups and sides! The leftovers will be served for Saturday lunch. Catered meals will be 2 breakfasts (Saturday and Sunday morning) plus Chief Charles homemade chicken fried steak on Saturday night. Be sure to pick up your tickets when you register in camp.

Buddy Riders may no longer register online. You can register by contacting the Ride Secretary via email and request to be put on the Buddy list. All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. We will then take Buddy Riders in order from the waitlist. You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter. If you want a guaranteed spot, please register as Scout and get a scorecard!
Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (8/01/2025).
In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary directly.
Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual. This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.
Cancellation policy: Full refund up to 30 days before the ride.
If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund.
If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.
Additional Fees:
If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family. Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.
Directions to ride:
From the North: Take I-35 South towards Hillsboro. Exit Spur TX 579 West to downtown Hillsboro. Take the first right past the Court House on Highway 22 through the town of Whitney. Cross the Lake Whitney Dam and at the first flashing light turn left on FM 56 towards Valley Mills. Go about 13 miles and turn right on County Road 3350.
From the South: Take I-35 to Waco the take Highway 6 North approximately 30 miles to Valley Mills. Once in Valley Mills go through the only blinking light in town and turn right on FM 56 going to Lake Whitney Dam. Travel approximately four miles and turn left on County Road 3350. Take the first immediate left on Private Road 3348 at C-Bar Ranch sign.
Drive through the cattle guard for registration and Negative Coggins check.
