It’s always a good way to end our season by celebrating our military veterans. We are looking forward to reconnecting with our trail buddies, socializing around the camp fire, enjoying chicken fried steak and the trails at C Bar ranch. Kris, Ann & Sharon will be at C Bar the Thursday prior to the ride, if you are interested in coming early to enjoy the trails, let us know. The ranch fee is $10 per day to ride. The wait list goes by the date/time it was requested. Bunks in the bunkhouse – $30 a weekend. Plus the Soup Kitchen for Friday night potluck. Leftovers are served for lunch Saturday.
General Information and Requirements:
Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test for the horse you registered to ride. All dogs must be on a leash. No dogs in the signup room or in eating area during meals. Pick up your trash. Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences. There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.
Electric sites are limited – a waiting list is started. Primitive camping is free. Generators are allowed. Bunk house is available. Saturday night will be a Veteran’s program to honor our military. Horse water is provided at community tank. Shoes or boots are highly recommended.
Meals: There will be 2 catered breakfasts (Saturday & Sunday morning). Contact Ann Stacy or Kris Maley if you have questions!!

Buddy Riders may no longer register online. You can register by contacting the Ride Secretary via email and request to be put on the Buddy list. All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. We will then take Buddy Riders in order from the waitlist. You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter. If you want a guaranteed spot, please register as Scout and get a scorecard!
Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (08/01/2024).
In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary directly.
Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual. This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.
Cancellation policy:
2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy (From the rule book)
If you cancel:
2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride– full refund
1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50%
Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund
If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund.
If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”. Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.
Additional Fees:
If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family. Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.
Directions to ride:
From the North: Take I-35 South towards Hillsboro. Exit Spur TX 579 West to downtown Hillsboro. Take the first right past the Court House on Highway 22 through the town of Whitney. Cross the Lake Whitney Dam and at the first flashing light turn left on FM 56 towards Valley Mills. Go about 13 miles and turn right on County Road 3350.
From the South: Take I-35 to Waco the take Highway 6 North approximately 30 miles to Valley Mills. Once in Valley Mills go through the only blinking light in town and turn right on FM 56 going to Lake Whitney Dam. Travel approximately four miles and turn left on County Road 3350. Take the first immediate left on Private Road 3348 at C-Bar Ranch sign.
Drive through the cattle guard for registration and Negative Coggins check.
