Come to the 15th Annual Texas Trail Challenge at the beautiful Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center in Killeen, Texas. This ranch hosted the first TTC in 2007. The Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center is a campground and riding area that is located in Central Texas. The Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on almost 2,000 acres of Hill Country terrain teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees and crystal clear streams. Shoes are recommended for horses. Please note that the SPRING CLINIC is scheduled for the Friday before Rocky Road. You may register for either the Clinic or the Ride or both.

General Information and Requirements:
Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test. All dogs must be on a leash. Dispose of manure as instructed.
Meals: Saturday Night – Chili Cook Off. Set up your team and test your skills at the best Chili of Texas. Looking for Six Teams to challenge each other. All riders will be judges. Bring Pot Luck- all the goodies to go with your favorite Chili.

Prepayment 30 days prior to the ride (1/8/20) is required in order to retain your reservation. If prepayment is not received 30 days prior to ride, your spot will be released and your name will be moved to the waiting list.
A ride confirmation email will be sent to you from Nancy. Please wait for instructions to pay.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual. This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.
In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride manager directly.
Cancellation policy:
2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy
If you cancel:
7+ days prior to ride– full refund
6-3 days prior to ride– 50%
Less than 3 days– no refund
If Management cancels the ride you will receive a full refund.
If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”. Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.
Additional Fees:
If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $5 or a full membership for $20, payable to TTCC.

Parrie Haynes Camping Fees:
Electrical Site $35 per night (includes pen & water)
Primitive Camping $15 per night
Ranch Fee $10 per person/per weekend
Directions to ride: From Dallas: take 195 South from Killeen, turn West on 2670. Go approx. 2 miles and then turn North on North Maxdale Road. Continue on North Maxdale Road for approx. 2 ½ miles. Entrance to equestrian Center on your left. From Austin: Take 195 North to approx. 5 miles past Florence, turn West on 2670. Go approx. 2 miles and then turn North Maxdale Road. Entrance to Equestrian Center will be on your Left.
