18th Annual Rocky Road TTCC. Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center offers 65 RV sites with pens, cabins with pens and just over 1600 acres of riding from technical to soft prairie trails.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test for the horse you registered to ride.  All dogs must be on a leash.  No dogs in the pavilion during meal times. Pick up your trash.  Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences.  There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.

Make your reservation vis the Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center website.  Shoes or boots are recommended.

Meals:  This years competition is LASAGNA!! Put together and team and let Kate know.  The rest of the riders- please bring sides (again let Kate know) and get ready for the first Ride of the Year!!!

Ranch Fee: Weekend fee of $10 per person.  Camping is extra.

Buddy Riders may no longer register online. You can register by contacting the Ride Secretary via email and request to be put on the Buddy list.  All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. We will then take Buddy Riders in order from the waitlist.  You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter. If you want a guaranteed spot, please register as Scout and get a scorecard!

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (11/01/2023).

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary directly.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy (From the rule book)

If you cancel:

2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride– full refund 

1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50% 

Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund

If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund. 

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family.  Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.

Directions to ride:  Any GPS to 195 south of Killeen. Take 2670 for 3.8 miles to Maxdale. Turn right and drive 2 miles straight up the uphill. DO NOT TURN ON GANN BRANCH ROAD, IGNORE THE HUGE PARRIE HAYNES RANCH SIGN- THAT IS ANOTHER SECTION OF PHR.  At the top of the hill the Ranch entrace is on your left. You will drive in and  stop at the “Whoa” sign, provide coggins and be led to your camping spot.
