TTCC Fall Rider Clinic

Location:  Wyatt Ranch – 1738 CR 312, Glen Rose, TX  76043

The Fall Clinic will be on the Friday before the Wyatt Ranch Wanderer Ride.  Registration and payment will be separate from the ride.  You will receive details and an agenda after registration opens. Check in will begin on Thursday, October 26th at 4:00 PM.  This is a member appreciation event.  You must be a full member to participate in the clinic.  Go to www.texas trailchallengeclub.com for details.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test.  All dogs must be on a leash.  Dispose of manure as instructed.  Pick up your trash.  Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences.

Meals:  On your own for Thursday night

Ranch Fee: $10 for Thursday night

Ride Fees:  $50 per rider

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (07/01/2023).

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary, Nancy Fenimore, directly.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

Your payment received 30 days prior to the ride secures your reservation.  If your payment is not received 30 days prior to the ride, your name will be moved to the waiting list.

Cancellation policy:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy (From the rule book)

If you cancel:

2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride– full refund (Deadline: October 14, 2023)

1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50% (Deadline: October 21, 2023)

Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund

If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund. 

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Directions to ride: 

From the North: From Granbury, take 144 South to the stop light at Hwy 67. Cross the intersection and proceed south (Exxon station will be on your right). Stay to the right at the fork in the road. Do not turn left on 312 to the east. The second ranch gate on the left is the entrance. It is less than a ¼ mile south of 67. There will be signs. If you go too far, there is a Sonic and Quality Inn on the right.

From the West:  Go through Glen Rose on 67 to the East end of town and at the light where 144 comes in from the left (North), turn right (Exxon gas station will be on your right). Keep to the right at the fork in the road. Do not turn left on 312. The second ranch gate on the left is the entrance. It is less than a ¼ mile from 67. There will be signs.

From the East (Cleburne): At the east end of Glen Rose turn left at the intersection of 67 and 144 (a 7-11 will be on your left) turn there. Exxon and store will now be on your right. Keep to the right at the fork in the road. Do not turn left on 312. The gate to the ranch is the second ranch gate on the left. There will be signs.
