The Spring Clinic will be held on Saturday 3/28/26.

General Information and Requirements: 

At Vicki’s, clinic participants will have a FULL DAY of instruction using 3 acres of obstacles and the use of a round pen. Vicki’s is located within 20 minutes from C-Bar and 30 minutes from Reynold’s Creek. Trailer to either of those locations late Saturday or early Sunday and spend another day of trail riding.

This clinic will include obstacle work, but participants will also receive instruction on horsemanship, confidence building, gait transitions, and help with specific problems a rider may have.

Primitive camping only, with adequate space for portable/electric pens or high ties at the trailer.   A few pens are available for use.  Call ahead to Vicki Van Steyn at (916) 276-7515 to reserve a pen for $10.

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test at the day’s registration.  All dogs must be on a leash.  No dogs in the signup room or in eating area.  Pick up your trash.  Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences.

All junior riders (age 8-18) must wear a helmet at all times while horseback, regardless if on trail or in camp. 

Ride Fees:  The Clinic fee is $60 per rider. An agenda will be emailed to each rider and will be posted on Facebook and in the newsletter.

Lunch (sandwich fixings) will be provided for $7 per person. 

Please add the $7 and the  $10 day membership (or $30 for single, $40 for family) to the Clinic fee when registering on the website. 

If pen is reserved, pay Vicki directly the day of arrival.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter.

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (06/01/2026).

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting Kelly Beard.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.  You need to be logged in to be able to register for this Clinic.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy:  Full refund up to 30 days before the ride.

If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund. 

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family.  Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.
