Six RS Ranch is a 1500 acre working cattle ranch.  The campsite has 12 hookups and 12 stalls. Primitive camping is allowed, a restroom and shower is available at the campsite.  The Painted Horse Inn will be used for the ride meetings and meal.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test for the horse you registered to ride.  All dogs must be on a leash.  No dogs in the signup room or in eating area during meal times.  Pick up your trash.  Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences.  There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.

General Information:  There will be a lottery for the available hookups and pens.  Please state on the reservation if you want to be placed in the lottery.  The drawing will be held 30 days before the ride after all fees are due.   Some of the pens have a low clearance and some horses can reach over the panels. Cattle will not be fenced from the camp area. Trails are sandy and barefoot friendly. For reservations contact Mary Ann at [email protected].

Amenities:  $10 per day primitive camping , $25 per night for hookup with water, $15 per night or $25 for two nights for pens with runs.  (These will be part of the lottery draw.)

The Painted Horse Inn has the following accommodations: Brown Bedroom has one queen and one double bed with a private bath.  Yellow Bedroom has one queen bed and a shared bath.  Pink Bedroom has two double beds and a shared bath with Blue.  Blue Bedroom has 2 queen beds and a shared bath with Pink.  There is one sofa bed in the den.  Linens are provided.  The Inn will be rented for the ride meetings and meals but the bedrooms may be rented by participants.  The house sleeps 15 if you are interested at $40 per night per person contact Mary Ann to reserve a spot.

Meals:  There will be a meal on Saturday night.  More details to come.

Ranch Fee:  Ranch Fees are $10 per day per attendee.

Buddy Riders may no longer register online. You can register by contacting the Ride Secretary via email and request to be put on the Buddy list.  All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. We will then take Buddy Riders in order from the waitlist.  You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter. If you want a guaranteed spot, please register as Scout and get a scorecard!

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (02/01/2024).

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary directly.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy (From the rule book)

If you cancel:

2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride– full refund 

1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50% 

Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund

If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund. 

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family.  Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.

From Buffalo, Texas:  Take US 75 South to FM 831, turn left continue on 831 for approximately 10 miles.  The ranch is on the left.
