Year End Celebration and Awards Ceremony

Location: Farris Wheel Ranch for the Party and Parrie Haynes Ranch for accommodations

Date:                 January 29, 2022

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride, October 1, 2021.

The Annual Celebration and Ceremony is for everyone. We will celebrate the communication and friendships, work and laughter that makes us a club.  You can come for the party, the weekend, bring your horse or not. We have awesome awards for our Year End Winners, and Thank You gifts for our volunteers, judges, ride managers, and more.

The Party starts with a  BYOB cocktail party and Thank You gifts,  then dinner and Year End Awards. This year we will again  have  a slide show during social times.

General Information and Requirements: Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test.  All dogs must be on a leash.  Dispose of  manure as instructed.

Meals:  Dinner is BBQ!! And all the trimmings, and we will have the same Chef as last year. $18.00 per person, children’s meals are covered by a silent benefactor.

A Party confirmation email will be sent to you from Leah.  Please wait for instructions to pay. Register all members via our Website/Event page. DO NOT add non-members in the comments section, wait for letter from Leah to confirm all details.

Bunkhouse  at  Farris Wheel Ranch     $15.00 per night per bed. Bedroom #2 has 3 bunkbeds or Bedroom #3 has 3 double beds- cost based on 6 people per room – no horses, dogs or ?? at Farris Wheel.

Directions to ride:  From Dallas: take 195 South from Killeen, turn West/Right on 2670.  Go approximately 4 miles, turn right, and continue on North Maxdale Road for  2 miles, then turn Left into PHR Equestrian Center if staying there or just past on right into Farris Wheel Ranch – Yellow High Fence.

From Austin:  Take 195 North to approx. 5 miles past Florence, turn West/Left on 2670.  Go approximately 4 miles and then turn right onto North Maxdale Road.   Continue on North Maxdale Road for  2 miles turn left into PHR Equestrian Center if staying there or just past on right into Farris Wheel Ranch – Yellow High Fence.
