7IL Ranch is a 2100 acre cattle and hay ranch.  It has been in the Reznicek family since 1863 and has a rich history.  It is barefoot friendly with RV hookups, showers, horse pens, party pavilion, arena, and gift shop.  The terrain is mostly flat with gently rolling hills, ponds, and creek crossings.  Many of the trails zig zag through the forests, gullies, and creek crossings.  Make RV and pen reservations at: 7ILranch.com.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test for the horse you registered to ride.  All dogs must be on a leash.  No dogs in the signup room or in eating area during Saturday’s catered meal.  Pick up your trash.  Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property such as fences.  There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.

Wheel barrows will be available for collection of manure.

Meals:  The Saturday night meal will be hamburger or hotdog for $10/plate.  Tea and water and condiments are provided by management.  Bring your favorite dessert for a sweet potluck.

Ranch Fee: $30 for the weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) or $20/day.

Buddy Riders may no longer register online. You can register by contacting the Ride Secretary via email and request to be put on the Buddy list.  All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days out will be released. We will then take Buddy Riders in order from the waitlist.  You will hear directly from the Ride Secretary with a confirmation letter. If you want a guaranteed spot, please register as Scout and get a scorecard!

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride (01/01/2024).

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride secretary directly.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

All registered riders not paid in full by 30 days prior to the ride will be removed from the registration list and put on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy (From the rule book)

If you cancel:

2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride– full refund 

1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50% 

Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund

If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund. 

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 per day, or an annual membership for $30 for single person, or $40 for family.  Checks need to be made payable to TTCC.

Directions to ride:

*From Houston: take I-10 W to Sealy, go north on HWY 36, 2 miles to FM 1094.  Go 11 miles to FM 949, turn right.  Go .2 miles to Mill Creek Rd., turn left.  Stay on Mill Creek Rd., cross the bridge and where the road ‘Y’s, stay to the right. Continue 2.5 miles to the 7IL entrance on your left,  look for the Texas State flag on the mailbox. 

*From San Antonio: Take I-10 E to Exit #704 -FM 949 north(left) Co 11.7 miles to the stop sign at FM 1094, cross over 1094 and go .2 miles to MILL Creek Rd., take a left.  Continue on Mill Creek Rd., to where it ‘Y’s after the bridge and stay to the right.  Go 2.5 miles to the 7IL entrance on your left.  Look for the TX State flag on the mailbox. 

*From Brenham(HWY 290): Take HWY 36 S to Bellville.  Go around the court house to the next traffic light and take a right to stay on HWY 36.  Turn right at FM 2429(at the Exxon station).  At the ‘T’ stop sign turn right on FM 949.  Go 4 miles to Mill Creek Rd., turn right.  After you cross the bridge stay to the right at the Y  and go 2.5 miles to the 7IL entrance on your left, look for the Texas State flag on the mailbox.

*From Hempstead: Take Hon HWY 36 SWY 159 to Bellville.  At the traffic light turn left on HWY 36 S.  Turn right on FM 2429 (At the Exxon Station).  At the ‘T’ stop sign, turn left on FM 949.  Go 4 miles to Mill Creek Rd., turn right.  After you cross the bridge stay to the right to stay on Mill Creek Rd.  Go 2.5 miles to the 7IL entrance on your left.  Look for the Texas State flag on the mailbox.

*From Dallas: Take I45 S to exit # 146 to HWY 75 to Madisonville, go 4.5 miles to HWY 190, turn right, go .2 miles, turn left on HWY 90, go 42.4 miles, turn left on HWY 6 S. Go 20 miles to Hempstead.  Take HWY 159 to Bellville.  After the RR tracks, turn left at the traffic light on to HWY 36 S.  At FM 2429, turn right(at the Exxon station).  At the ‘T’ stop sign turn right on FM 949.  Go 4 miles to Mill Creek Rd. After you cross the bridge, stay right at the ‘Y’ to continue on Mill Creek Rd. for 2.5 miles until you get to the 7IL entrance on your left.  Look for the Texas state flag on the mailbox.
