Location: Y O Ranch Headquarters, 1736 Y O Ranch Rd NW, Mountain Home. TX 78058

The ride at this historic ranch will be a truly unique experience! We will be on 5,200 acres and
will come across deer and other wildlife. It is a beautiful ranch with lots of history. The terrain
can be rocky so shoes or boots are recommended. The exotic animals they have on the ranch
will be kept in a separate pasture. They offer a 2 hour wildlife tour for $85 in case you want to
come early or stay another day. Please contact Y O  Ranch Headquarters at 830-640-3222 if you want the tour.

There will be a limited number of hookups and will cost $55/day which includes electricity and water. Pens and paddocks are available across from the primitive area and will cost $25/horse for 2 days. Both have water available. The 50 covered pens are 10 x 10 & are closest to primitive & hookup areas.  The 16 paddocks are very large & can easily accommodate 2 horses if they are familiar with each other.  The fee for the primitive camping area will be $20/day. Please indicate in the Comments Section when you register if you want a stall, paddock, hookup or primitive site when you register.

Lodging is available at the ranch with a choice of new private rooms or historic cabins. Please
contact Y O Ranch Headquarters at 830-640-3222 for lodging reservations. The rate is
$105/person/night. If you want the lodging package that includes 3 meals a day, the rate is
$200/person/day.

Meals: The Y O has a chef on staff and on Saturday night will offer 3 food stations which include fajitas (beef and chicken), tacos, and quesadillas for $25. Please indicate in the Comments section when you register if you want Saturday night dinner. If you forget to add the dinner when you register, contact Shelley Hilton at [email protected]. You must sign up for the Saturday dinner by March 3. If you want additional meals, Breakfast is $15, Lunch is $20, and Dinner is $30. The additional meals need to reserved in advance by contacting the Y O Headquarters. Meals are served in the Chuckwagon dining hall.

Ranch fee: $25/day

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test. All dogs must be on a leash and confined to
the camping area. Scatter your manure and pick up your trash. Do not attach your horse pen to any permanent structure on the property, such as fences. There will a designated area for
primitive camping.

*You are allowed to do the obstacles and get a score card but you are not competing.
** Buddy Riders-You must contact the Ride Manager – Shelley Hilton at [email protected] or 281-794-6650 to register as a Buddy Rider. There will be a limited number Buddy Riders.

In case of a full ride, please contact Ride Manager – Shelley Hilton at [email protected] to be put on the waiting list. We usually can accommodate everyone because some people cancel for various reasons.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot
register your relative on your login. You must create a separate login with a separate email
address to register.

You must pay 30 days prior to the ride in order to secure your reservation. If your payment is
not received 30 days prior to the ride, your name will be moved to the waiting list.

Cancellation Policy:
2.5-Ride Fee Cancellation Policy (see rule book)

If you cancel:
2 weeks (14+ days) prior to ride-full refund
1 week (7 days) prior to ride-50%
Less than 1 week (7days)-no refund
If Management cancels the ride, you will receive a full refund.

Additional Fees:
If not a member of TTCC, you must purchase a daily membership at $10 /day or a full annual
membership of $30, payable to TTCC.

Directions to Ride:
From San Antonio: Take I-10W towards Kerrville. Exit 490 onto 41 Texas and turn left. Drive
17.5 miles. Turn right onto Y O Ranch Rd NW. It is a large entrance and you will see the club
banner there. Follow signs on the road.

From Junction:  Take I-10E towards Kerrville for 3.6 miles.  Take the exit for US-83 S towards Cummings Rd.  Stay on US-83 S for about 34 miles.  Turn left (at Garvin Store) onto TX-41 E.  Stay on TX-41 E for approximately 6 miles.  Turn left onto Y O Ranch Rd NW.  It is a large entrance and you will see the club banner there. Follow signs on the road.

Use your GPS and it will get you there.
