TTCC Fall Rider Clinic

Location:   Smith Ranch,  245 FM 1042,  Three Rivers, TX 78071

Date:  October 8, 2021

This year the Fall Rider Clinic will be on the Friday before the South Texas Shoot Out Ride. Registration and payment will be separate from the ride. You must be a TTCC member to participate in the clinic and private lessons.

Check in will be on Thursday at noon.

There will be private lessons on Thursday afternoon and again on Friday afternoon at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30. The clinic will begin at 8:00 am on Friday morning. You will receive an email with the agenda, specific instructions, and your clinician lesson assignment.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test.  Friendly dogs are welcome.  Dispose of manure as instructed.

Meals:  On your own.

Clinic Fees: $50 per person, you may pay by check payable to Nancy Fenimore and mail to: Nancy Fenimore, 6730 Mueller Rd., La Grange, TX 78945,  OR PayPal [email protected]   Please specify Friends and Family and add ‘Clinic’ to your note.

Your payment 30 days before the clinic (9/8/2021) secures your slot.  If payment is not received by that date your name will be moved to the waiting list.

Private lesson fees:  To be announced.  To be paid directly to the clinician on site at the time of lesson.

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride. 7/1/2021

In the case of a full clinic, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride manager directly.

Each person registering for the clinic must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

Cancellation policy per the rulebook:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy (PLEASE NOTE NEW POLICY)

If you cancel:

 14+ days prior to ride– full refund

 7 days prior to ride– 50%

 Less than 7 days– no refund

If  Management cancels  the ride you will receive a full refund.

If you have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

 Additional Fees: If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $5 or a full membership for $20, payable to TTCC.

Directions to ride:  

The ranch is located at 245 FM 1042, Three Rivers, TX 78071. From San Antonio take I-37 South. Exit on 281S (north of Three Rivers). Stay on 281S through Three Rivers. From the refinery in Three Rivers go 2.5 miles and turn right on FM 1042 (at the turn you will see a sign for Simmons City). Continue 2.7 miles to the ranch entrance on the left. (Watch for oil tank farm on right as a marker, after you pass this, the entrance to the ranch will be on your left). There is a Rocking J on the gate and the TTCC banner will be on the gate. If you are coming in after dark, the ranch gate is 3/10 mile past the oil tank farm.
