San Angelo State Park combines history and natural beauty on the banks of the O. C. Fisher Reservoir and the Concho River.  The park has 50 miles of multiuse trails and is home to the official Texas State Longhorn Herd.  The park also offers fossilized pre-dinosaur era tracks on its Permian Trail and the month of October usually witnesses Monarch Butterflies migrating through the park on their way south.

Accommodations-

Electric – there are a few available. (North Concho has pens and tethers and Bald Eagle has tethers). $20 per night
Primitive Sites- North Concho only include pen or tether and picnic table. $10.00 per night

Parking Lot- paved parking with grassy area for horse pens. THESE payable to Management at check-in $5.00 per night
There will be designated areas for generator and non-generator use.

General Information and Requirements:

Everyone must show provide a copy of negative Coggins test to be left for the Park when you check in with Secretary.

All dogs must be on a leash, and are not allowed in the Pavillion during meal time.
Dispose of  manure as instructed.

Do not attach temporary fencing to any permanent structure on the host property.

There is a $4 entry fee per person per day which we will collect with your ride registration payment.

Everyone comes to North Concho and registers with Ride Secretary, do not go to Ranger Hut at South Shore Entrance!!

Meals:  Meals- Char-grilled hamburgers Saturday night with potato salad and fixins, iced tea, and peach cobbler for dessert. $15.00 per person. Payable in advance with Registration. Please note in ‘Comment Box’ if you want to meal. If you have a non-competitor that wants a meal- note that there also.

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to the ride: July 1, 2022

In the case of a full ride, you can be added to the waitlist by contacting the ride manager directly.  Your payment must be received 30 days prior to the ride (September 15, 2022) in order to secure your spot.  If payment is not received 30 days prior to the ride, your name will be moved to the waiting list.

Each person registering for a ride must have a separate login and password. You cannot register your relative on your login, you must create a separate login with a separate email address and register them separately. The comment section cannot be used for registering another individual.  This is necessary to maintain an accurate count of riders registered for a ride.

Cancellation policy:

2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy

If you cancel:

 2 weeks (14 days) prior to ride– full refund

 1 week (7 days) prior to ride– 50%

 Less than 1 week (7 days)– no refund

If  Management cancels  the ride you will receive a full refund.

If you do have to cancel, scroll down and click, “cancel my reservation”.  Make certain you contact the ranch host and cancel any reservations you made directly with them for lodging arrangements.

Additional Fees: 

If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $10 or a full membership for $30, payable to TTCC.
