Salute To The Troops
Location: C Bar Ranch, Valley Mills, TX
Date: November 9 – 10, 2019
Registration opens 90 days prior to ride, August 1st , 2019, 6:00 AM. Mark your calendar.
We will be honoring Veterans Day on Saturday. Wear your Patriotic colors!
Electric sites are limited – a waiting list is started. Primitive camping is free. Generators are allowed. Keep in mind, all dogs must be on a lead.
Shoes are highly recommended. Proof of negative Coggins required and will be checked at registration check-in. We will ride unless it’s lightning or storming. Don’t let the weather discourage you.
We want to encourage everyone to decorate their campsite in a patriotic theme. Flags, bunting or what ever you feel expresses your appreciation for our Veterans. We will be adding a fun exciting and challenging twist to Saturday’s ride. A team TRIFECTA ride – more information will be forth coming!!

General Information and Requirements:
Everyone must show proof of negative Coggins test. All dogs must be on a leash. Dispose of manure as instructed.
Meals: Friday night will be a potluck – grilled hotdogs and apple pie! How traditional is that! Bring sides to enjoy an Patriotic Cook Out with everyone! Leftovers will be Saturday’s lunch.
We have some suggested items if you are interested.
Catered meals will be 2 breakfasts (Saturday & Sunday morning). Hearty and hot meals served w Coffee. Please be sure to let us know if you want the meals. The meals are worth enjoying – you don’t leave the table hungry!!! ?

There will be a $10 discount for prepaying by mailing a check 30 days prior to the ride payable to:

Your prepayment must be received 30 days prior to the ride in order to retain your reservation. If prepayment is not received 30 days prior to the ride, your reservation will be cancelled and released to those on the waiting list.
Cancellation policy:
2.5 — Ride-Fee Cancellation Policy
If you cancel:
7+ days prior to ride– full refund
6-3 days prior to ride– 50%
Less than 3 days– no refund
If Management cancels the ride you will receive a full refund.
Additional Fees:
If not a member of TTCC you must purchase a daily membership at $5 or a full membership for $20, payable to TTCC.

Directions to ride:
From the North:
Take I-35 South towards Hillsboro. Exit Spur TX 579 West to downtown Hillsboro. Take the first right past the Court House on Highway 22 through the town of Whitney. Cross the Lake Whitney Dam and at the first flashing light turn left on FM 56 towards Valley Mills. Go about 13 miles and turn right on County Road 3350.
From the South:
Take I-35 to Waco the take Highway 6 North approximately 30 miles to Valley Mills. Once in Valley Mills go through the only blinking light in town and turn right on FM 56 going to Lake Whitney Dam. Travel approximately four miles and turn left on County Road 3350.
Take the first immediate left on Private Road 3348 at C-Bar Ranch sign. Drive through the cattle guard for registration and Negative Coggins check.
