    Gold Rush 

Gold Rush Ride is cancelled – too much rain and trailer parking would be to muddy. For the safety of all riders and horses, Senior Judge Teresa Corgill and ride managers are unfortunately cancelling the ride. More details to follow.

Registration opens on the first of the month 90 days prior to ride, February 1, 2019, 6:00 AM.

We have 1,300 acres of beautiful Texas country to enjoy on the ranch.  Lots of varying terrain including ravines and hills and several ponds. Much of our ground is soft but I recommend boots or shoes for the rocky patches.  We have lots of wildlife!  The ranch is truly beautiful this time of year!

General Requirements:  Must show proof of negative Coggins test.  All dogs must be on a leash.

We will have a trough in the trailer parking area as well as a large water container that you can use to fill buckets.  There is a hose at the house also that you can use if needed.  We will have porta-potties in the parking area for your convenience.  Generators are welcome but there are no electrical hook-ups or stalls available, so plan accordingly.

Meals: Potluck meal will be chili – please bring side items for potluck. Suggested items; cornbread, shredded cheese, sour cream, maybe Fritos (if you like frito pie). Plus deserts! Ride Managers will provide bowls.

Your prepayment must be received 30 days prior to the ride in order to retain your reservation.  If prepayment is not received 30 days prior to the ride, your reservation will be cancelled and released to those on the waiting list.

If not a member of TTCC, must purchase a daily membership at $5 per day or an annual membership for $20.

RANCH FEES:  $15/per day or $25 for both days.

ATTENTION: Due to last year’s storm damage, the house will not be available for rooms nor Ride Secretaries!  We have used it for folks needing a bunk but it’s not available this year!

The port a potties will be there and horse water as well.  We are able to use some new areas, not used before, so we are excited about the new trails! Teresa will be the Senior Judge so be ready for a fun time! We are always needing volunteers to help judges and various other tasks – if you have a willing spouse/ significant other, who would like to help, let us know! Volunteers are a major part of a successful ride!

From Stephenville: Take Hwy 8 (Lingleville Hwy) West towards Desdemona. Go through Lingleville and proceed approximately 5 miles. CR 365 will be on your left. Turn left and proceed down CR 365 approximately 3.2 miles (careful, sharp turns!). Our place is on the right – red gate. (6608 CR 365)

From Dublin: Turn North on Hwy 219 at the Dairy Queen (Clinton Street). Go approximately 1.6 miles down 219.  You will see FM 2156 to the left (there is a Highland Baptist Church sign at the intersection). Turn left onto FM 2156 and proceed approximately 9.9 miles. You will see CR 365 on your right. Turn right onto CR 365 and proceed approximately 1.4 miles. Our place is a red gate on the left. (6608 CR 365)

From Interstate 20: Take the Hwy 16 exit off of IH-20. Drive South on Hwy 16. At Desdemona there is a caution light at Hwy 8. Turn left onto Hwy 8. Proceed approximately 5.3 miles and turn right on CR 365. Proceed down CR 365 approximately 3.2 miles (careful, sharp turns!) Our place is a red gate on the right. (6608 CR 365)

From DeLeon: (intersection of Hwy 16 & Hwy 6) Drive North on Hwy 16 approximately 7 miles from DeLeon. Look for the sign that says “Victor”, take a right on FM 2156 and proceed approximately 4 miles. Turn left on CR 365. Proceed approximately 1.4 miles. Our place is a red gate on the left (6608 CR 365)
