Spring Rider Clinic – Rescheduled to May 19 due to rain concerns. Contact the ride secretary with your questions.
Location: Parrie Haynes Ranch, West side
Ride Manager: Kate Hollar (Love)
Ride Secretary: Nancy Fenimore
The rider clinic is taught by TTCC Judges. You will be split into groups of 5 riders. You will go out with one Judge for 1.5 hours. Return to base, and go back out with a different Judge. We do want to group people by division. Either all Tenderfoot, Maverick or Horseman, allows the Judge to work on one level only per obstacle. I usually have about 12 obstacles planned out on a 2-3 mile track. At the Friday night meeting your group will pick 3-4 obstacles that you all want to work on. Judges will get together and work out a plan to get everyone out on trail, and to the preferred obstacles. Meet back at Longhorn at end of day for debriefing.
This will be the only clinic this year.
Check in will begin at 3:00 PM in the Longhorn Lodge Friday
April 20th. May 18th
Meeting in Longhorn at 7:30 PM Friday night to break into groups for Saturday.
Several people like to go into town for Mexican Food Friday night. Car Pool and be back in time for the meeting.
